Elvis Costello has been one of my favorite musicians for the past 25 years or so. I listened to him a bit when I was in high school, but I really took to him in college for some reason.
I graduated high school in 1999 and listened to a lot of punk, classic rock, grunge, that kind of thing. But for some reason I just kept coming back to Elvis Costello. It was kind of great because when I got to college, punk and alternative was really the mainstream and all of the sudden Elvis Costello felt subversive in that environment. Everyone else is listening to Bloodhound Gang or SOAD, and here I am with Costello blaring out of my windows.
Anyway, this page is dedicated to Elvis Costello. I'd like to share my thoughts on his music here. Ideally I would like to post some links to his music and talk about what it means to me, my memories of listening to it, that kind of thing.
This website has been very slow going, but hopefully now that I have brought this page into existance it'll inspire me to get some EC content up here in the next few days.
